Food was good, had the pastor skillet and was not disappointed, nice interior and exterior design, the best part was service, our hostess and waitress were both excellent, pleasant, and attentive
The ZAPATA plate got my interest and I was pleased to have ordered it. It comes with a first course of cheesy tostado with a beef taco. The second course was two enchiladas, rice, & beans. Don't forget to get the free ice cream cone in the way out. They had chocolate and vanilla. So good!
I was craving Mexican food, and Gringo's had been recommended. I was planning to get it to go order. I didn't really like their waiting area for to go, so I asked if I could sit at the bar and have a cold drink while I was waiting. I ended up sitting at the bar and chatting with a friendly bartender. The facility is relatively new and well decorated. They have three good size televisions right over the bar so I was able to watch a basketball game while eating. I had a pastor bowl, which came with black beans and rice. It was quite tasty, but more than I could eat. The complementary chips and salsa were very good, but their green salsa, which is usually made with tomatillos, seems to have been made with sour cream and was very good.

**Go online and get on the waitlist! This place can get packed and have a long wait. We got online and were seated in 10 minutes once we arrived.** This place is great for groups with large seating options. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with substitutions. It was a little tricky because the wait staff didn't know the answer to our questions when bringing out our food. The margaritas were delicious and large. Would definitely go again!
Food was good, as usual. The service was good. Like that they still provide both the red and green sauce with the chips (not all restaurants are doing that anymore). Overall, good Tex-Mex restaurant. Will return.
Love their margaritas!!! Wonderful service every time. We always enjoy their steak fajitas and burritos. Great for kids as they can get free ice cream at the end :) We also love their welcoming, clean and bright ambiance (we go there during lunch times or before 7 pm so it's always bright).
